Well you know what the joke is, don't you, among rhythm players? I'll tell you what the standard joke is. And bass players get it just as much as drummers. You're playing, right?  [scats] And like four tenor players have played four or five choruses, a trombone and a trumpet and piano. And you're just about on your last tank of gas and they turn around and say "drum solo! " Or they turn around and you hear, if I was a bass player, they'd say "bass solo! " you know.
