The famous Town Hall concert. He was trying to, he was very well known for that. But he was a fine, fine composer and a great teacher. And yeah, I studied some arranging and writing. It's something I never followed through on a whole lot because I always was so busy as a player, which is a poor excuse, but that's kind of what it was. I might get back to it a little bit more. It's a lot of fun. I remember the first time I wrote an arrangement for just a small band with three or four horns, I didn't think it was very good at all and yet, they said it didn't sound so bad. And it's a big kick to hear those notes, I'm sure you know what I mean, hear the notes come alive.
