Yeah, I'm so respectful of harmony. But each, you see each musician, if you're accompanying a horn instrument for example, you must play differently underneath them. You find what you think sounds good, but it won't sound that good on every song. It's something that applies right that given moment in time, and no other. But you don't play the same thing beneath a trombone that you do under a tenor. I mean it depends what register they're using or whether they're playing legato or whether they're playing in a breathy fashion. So this is what you call instant assessment of what you're doing.
