Of course. Me being like a single instrument, my role was to improvise, and to make it hot, and to phrase melodies when people -- sometime when church people, they'll start off a song, and my mother was very good at this, they'd start a song off in about three different keys. They said [sings] I'm a soldier in the Army of the Lord. And somewhere in there you've got to decide which kind of key you're going to play in. And my mother was very good at that, and to just nail it from the onset. She'd get the best of -- the strongest tone they sang, she would make that the center. And I got good at it too after a while. And there was a lot of ear training going on there, because people, they come to church to sing and 99% of them can't sing at all, but they have a lot of enthusiasm.
