No, no, not in trouble. I'll tell you what happened a couple of times. Kansas City was really prejudiced sitting in the back but in a matter of a year that was cleared up. What really happened was that they'd probably be in the house drinking with white and black. This was during Prohibition and I remember 3 or 4 of our boys got picked up like that. They were sitting drinking with - there was two white girls and the others were the boys in the band. About 3 of the boys out of the band was just sitting there drinking. We used to jam and do things like that and the girls would come around to hear it. It so happened that one of the girls was married or was a girl friend to a big detective there and he'd been peeping under the curtain all the time they were in the house. So he went away and brought the wagon back and arrested all of them but it didn't stand up at all because some of them was released before Country even came into the picture because the law is that black and white could be in the same house drinking and there was no need to arrest them if no one had taken their coats off. That was a peculiar law. They had just arrived in the house and this detective happened to follow his girl friend and saw her. He was peeping under the curtain and Salty Dog, somebody like that, ran in the house. A guy by the name of Salty Dog told the guys that this detective was outside but it was too late then. He called the police and picked them up. WILLIAMSJust little things like that. They didn't get into big trouble and whatever they did it was just like they hadn't because Country would release them.
