Oh yeah. We had a party at my aunt's house, where I was brought up. She had come in from New York, where she was most of the time. So whenever she came into L.A., we had a party. At this party was Roy Eldridge and Duke. I remember I had the first copy of the sheet music of Laura. The musicians went crazy. Then my aunt asked me to sing for Duke. I was - I must have been about 14 or 15. I sang I Didn't Know about You, which was not known and which surprised Duke, because he didn't think he was going to hear - I don't know what he expected to hear from this 14- or 15-year-old. He was amazed. He said, "Number one, nobody knows that song," and he said, "At her age, that's great." So that was high praise. That helped me when I went to the Apollo, and it was Duke's band. When he came into the dressing room, and he said, "Why are you nervous?" Why, indeed? But I was. And it went off great.
