" Norman Granz called me and said, "I want you to do an album with Meade Lux Lewis `Lux' Lewis, just the two of you, piano and drums. That's all. " When I got to the record date, I  he was a wonderful guy, very, very upbeat, and all music. It was fun doing that. Boogie-woogie style. Yeah, great. He was a wonderful man.
