Dear Knut:

It was a great pleasure meeting you last week in New York and I look forward to seeing you again either here or in Stockholm this September.

The following is intended to set forth, in a very brief and simple form, the arrangement reached between us for the Festival of Art and Technology:

1. You will make available to us $10,000 for our expenses for technical equipment, services, and the like. Any unused balance of the $10,000 will be refunded to you. If additional funds are required for such purposes, they will be our responsibility. You have already made available $3,000 and the remaining $7,000 will be paid to us by the first week of July.

2. In addition to the above contribution, you will pay: 
(a). $400 salary for each of the following American artists;  
(b). their living expenses during their stay in Stockholm; and  
(c). round-trip air transportation from New York to Stockholm as indicated below by an asterisk for certain artists:
