Richard Habersham-Bey: Yes, born and raised in Brooklyn, April 3, 1935. I grew up down in the Fort Greene area; we moved into the Fort Greene projects in 1941 when it was first built. I went to PS 67, we had the #1 black school – which is now the Walt Whitman Library. It was a school for blacks that worked for rich white folks. I went to high school in Manhattan. I went to Harren High School, presently John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
