I can remember going to my grandfather's funeral, getting on a plane and going back to Philadelphia and singing, doing my show, and I had fun. I can remember going to an aunt's funeral and having to get back in time to go to work, and the show became more special because of that. I don't know whether I put more into it, or maybe I was - but it never brought me down. I went out and did a show for them, not necessarily the audience, but for them.
