Well that's, it takes a long time I guess to learn enough songs to learn all those old songs.  And it's tough to get together with strange guys and it's sometimes very hard to find a tune that everybody knows, I mean everybody in the band, even the bass player, alright?  The bass player is supposed to know everything. You can't say I don't know it, because I never say I don't know anything, I just shut up and wait and listen, wait and see. I kind of cool it in the beginning and sometimes the piano will go like this, for a two chord or four chord or something. F, G#, you know, so you fake it. You've got to be a faker to play bass. Pretend, you know?
