Because a lot of guys think they have to show off everything they got in eight bars.  You've got to lay out and listen, and then play something, then fit it in. You don't have to make a prove of what you can do, all at once. In other words, relax and go along for the ride and have a good time. Enjoy the music. Smell the flowers.
